Needham, Massachusetts – On May 1, 2018 TUIV welcomed Christina Williams to the position of Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Christina works closely with the leadership of TUIV, FUV and external advisors to develop and support a financial model that will sustain FUV’s mission of reimagining the university in Vietnam for Vietnam in the 21st century.
Christina comes to TUIV from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where she was the CFO for the Sloan School of Management. At MIT, she also had the opportunity to work alongside the faculty and senior administration on the negotiations and start-up phase for new universities and research centers in Singapore and Russia, and to lead Finance and Development at the MIT Media Lab. Prior to entering the world of higher education, Christina’s professional experience was in the private sector at Fidelity Investments, focusing on organizational design and effectiveness within the various Fidelity companies. Christina also teaches at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-Kim School of Business and serves on the Science and Technology Committee for Homeland Security.
