Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Wondering what FUV’s undergraduate programs will look like? The FUV academic team is designing an original educational experience that is innovative not only in terms of the knowledge students will learn, but also what they can do and who they can be, so they graduate from FUV prepared for lives of meaning and achievement.

In keeping with FUV’s commitment to design thinking and active learning, the university will involve students in the development of the undergraduate program through the FUV Co-Design Year. In 2018-2019, approximately fifty students will be selected to study with FUV’s founding faculty while working with them to refine various aspects of FUV’s undergraduate program in engineering and the liberal arts and sciences. Co-Design year students will receive some academic credit and are ensured a place in FUV’s inaugural freshman class, which will matriculate in the fall of 2019. The concept for the Co-Design Year was adapted from the experience of other recently established colleges, including the Olin College of Engineering.

FUV’s Co-Design Year application is now live on the FUV website. The submission deadline is February 1, 2018. To read more, click here and here.
